In addition to varied charitable and community events, ERA Justin Realty's Operations Manager, Nona Orlando shares award art received for fundraising efforts for Muscular Dystrophy and the kids summer camp program. The award art by MDA child Reagan Imhoff  is displayed on the MDA wall in their office. Ron Darby, MDA ERA fundraising chairman thanked the ERA Justin Realty teammates for their fundraising work for the kids over the years as well as the varied charitable and community events the firm spearheads.

For their past efforts as Northern New Jersey’s top fundraising ERA real estate office, Darby informed his teammates that the firm has also been inducted into the ERA President’s Club, honors shared only by organizations with year-long focus to the Summer Camp For Kids program and fundraising.

Darby, for eighteen years, has also been the ERA New Jersey Chairman for MDA including Jennifer Darby Metzger for her efforts in assisting the team's fundraising efforts. The firm continues to spearhead their efforts in various charitable missions.

Adding, she said, "Each year MDA supports summer camps across the country. Whether in Alaska or Hawaii, in California or New Jersey, at MDA camp barriers simply don’t exist. A child with a disability can just be a child among friends. MDA camp is a magical place offering a wide range of activities specially designed for young people who have limited mobility or use wheelchairs. MDA camp programs, although structured, are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere that gives campers an unmatched opportunity to develop lifelong friendships, share interests and build self-confidence. Activities range from outdoor sports such as swimming, boating, baseball and horseback riding to less physically demanding programs like arts and crafts and talent shows. Thousands of youngsters attend MDA camp each year at no cost to their families."

ERA Justin Realty’s Glenn Elliot named Lion of the Year

 

Glenn Elliot, a long time agent with ERA Justin Realty, was recently named Lion of the Year by the Rutherford Lions Club. Glenn, who is currently Treasurer of the Rutherford Lions, is a past Club President and a Lions District Zone Chair. This is the 3rd time that Glenn has received this award in his 25 years as a Lion. He is also a Past President and Trustee of the District 16N Lions Charitable Foundation. In announcing the award, Club President Laura O’Connor, thanked Glenn for his work with the Club and their charities. Beside being Treasurer, Glenn produces the Club newsletter, is the Club Webmaster, administers the Club Facebook site, works on Club and District Vision Screenings and serves lunch with the Club to the seniors at 55 Kip Center.

Glenn has been a REALTOR for 42 years and has been with ERA Justin Realty for over 35 years.
