ERA Justin Realty supports the William Carlos Williams Stamp and Rutherford's First Day of Sale Commemoratives. Rutherford historian Billy Neumann delivers two of the Rutherford First Day of Sale Commemoratives to ERA Justin Broker Ron Darby and Realtor Kristen Davis. and the Rutherford Public Library
Rutherford, NJ. "A timely donation by ERA Justin Realty, helped produce the popular William Carlos Williams - Rutherford Stamp Commemorative," stated Realtor Kristen Davis.

The agency’s donation provided critical underwriting for the printing and production of the collectable First Day Covers and their ceremonial materials. Because the donation came early in the process, it allowed more people to enjoy the commemorative First Day Cover sale and thus have more money donated to the Rutherford Public Library. ERA Justin Realty’s donation will now be fully applied to support the library.

On Saturday April 21st the First Day of Sale ceremony of the William Carlos Williams Stamp was an outstanding success. Two limited edition First Day Covers, specific to Rutherford, were sold to benefit the Rutherford Library. The new stamp’s unveiling and the commemorative sale was hosted on the steps of the Rutherford Post Office. It was both a philatelic occasion and a historic first for the Borough of Rutherford.

Billy Neumann, Rutherford historian and the commemorative’s producer, explained how the donation came about when he was contacted by ERA Justin’s Broker, Ron Darby. “Ron understood that proceeds from the sale of the commemorative covers would go to support the Rutherford Public Library. He was so enthused that he wanted to immediately buy 50 covers! When I explained there would be a limit to how many each person could buy, he generously agreed to fund the production of the First Day Covers so more could be made for sale.”

It turned out to be a very important donation. The popularity of the collectable was so great that the Rutherford Post Office actually ran out of stamps during Saturday’s First Day of Sale. But having the additional commemorative covers allowed them to remain on sale. Collectors continued to purchase the First Day Covers by themselves with the expectation of applying the stamps and cancellations later on.

The sale of the William Carlos Williams - Rutherford Stamp Commemorative will continue to be available until June 21st or until the limited supply of First Day Covers is exhausted. Any collectors seeking to purchase the commemorative should immediately contact William Neumann Photography at 201 939-0370 or fotogbill@aol.com or visit the William Carlos Williams Stamp Face Book Page. For donation information contact Ron Darby, Broker at ERA Justin Realty Co. 118 Jackson Ave Rutherford, NJ 07070 (201) 939-7500.

Proceeds from all sales up till the end will continue to be applied to support the Rutherford Public Library..
